Red chili pepper prices in Central Kalimantan Province's modern markets have increased by 12.98% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in Central Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp134,950 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly unchanged over the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets has increased from Rp119,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in Central Kalimantan over the last three months has increased by 63.67% from the previous price of Rp82,450 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 155.01%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2017 with a decrease of -40.84%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show seven commodities decreased and 12 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Fresh Chicken Meat, Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Large Red Chili, and Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price changes over the last month in Central Kalimantan Province:

2. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp34,900 per kg (down 10.28%)

5. Red Chili Pepper per Kg: Rp134,950 per kg (up 12.98%)
6. Grade I Low-Quality Rice per Kg: Rp14,400 per kg (unchanged)
7. Rice per Kg: Rp15,950 per kg (unchanged)
8. Cooking Oil per Kg: Rp22,750 per kg (down 5.01%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp21,600 per kg (up 2.13%)
