A survey by the Australian think tank Lowy Institute found that Indonesian society trusts the military as a source of accurate and fair information more than scientists and the media.

This survey was conducted among 3,000 respondents in Indonesia from November 29 to December 24, 2021. The survey used a random sample method and has a margin of error of 1.8%.
