Food Prices Today, January 27, in Banten: Red Chili, Onion, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 27, 2026) at 4:31 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with price increases included red cayenne pepper, large red chili, medium rice, broiler chicken eggs, and premium packaged palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp666 (1.77%) to Rp38,333 per kg. The price of curly red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp333 (0.87%) to Rp38,000 per kg.
