The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Lampung with weekly average vaccinations above the provincial average of 3,035.88 doses as of Saturday, May 14, 2022.
The top three districts/cities with average vaccination figures above 4,000 doses are Lampung Tengah, Lampung Timur, and Lampung Selatan, with 6,083 doses, 5,209 doses, and 3,500 doses respectively.
Lampung Tengah ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 6,083 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 1.29 million doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination achievement in this region has reached 69.08 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 44 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 273,720 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Lampung.
Next is Lampung Timur in second place. The complete vaccination achievement in this district has reached 58.16 percent. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination in this district reached 5,209 doses. Vaccination in this district is reported to be lower. Meanwhile, the daily average weekly vaccination statistics remain unchanged compared to the previous day.
Next is Lampung Selatan with a weekly average vaccination of 3,500 doses; complete vaccination coverage has reached 72.28 percent. Pesawaran has a vaccination average of 2,438 doses and a complete vaccination achievement of 65.64%, and Way Kanan has a weekly average vaccination of 2,417 doses and a complete vaccination achievement of 80.38%.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
