Prevalence of Undernourishment in Wonosobo Decreased by 0.73% in the Last 5 Years

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the prevalence of food inadequacy (Prevalence of Undernourishment/PoU) in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, was 13.39% in 2024.

This figure increased by 0.5% from the previous year's 12.89%, while decreasing by 0.73% in the last 5 years.

The average PoU in Indonesia was 8.27% in 2024. This means that the PoU in Wonosobo Regency was higher than the national average.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), PoU is a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy required for a normal, active, and healthy life.
