The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in South Sulawesi with weekly average vaccinations above the regional average, currently recorded at 1,222.33 doses as of Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination figures above 2,000 doses are Gowa, Bone, and Jeneponto, with values of 2,489 doses, 2,471 doses, and 2,181 doses respectively.
Gowa ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 2,489 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 758,240 doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation data, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 56.6 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 27 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 69,158 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in South Sulawesi.
Following Bone with a vaccination record of 2,471 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 29 days. This remaining usage period is calculated from the remaining stock recorded at 73,588 doses.
Next is the weekly average vaccination in Jeneponto at 2,181 doses and a complete vaccination achievement of 46.47 percent; the weekly average vaccination in Bulukumba at 1,082 doses and a complete vaccination achievement of 53.22%; and the weekly average vaccination in Maros at 1,076 doses and a complete vaccination achievement of 52.31%.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
