The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded two districts/cities in Central Java with a weekly average vaccination rate above the average of 4,852.56 doses as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with an average of over 5,000 doses are Banyumas, Purworejo, and Cilacap, with values of 11,333 doses, 6,068 doses, and 4,738 doses, respectively.
Banyumas ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 11,333 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 2.35 million doses. In the national dashboard data recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 87.38 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 10 days. This remaining usage time is calculated from the remaining stock of 120,870 doses and the highest vaccine usage in the last week in Central Java.
Following Banyumas is Purworejo in second place. The achievement of complete vaccination in this district has reached 80.17 percent. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination in this district reached 6,068 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 53,114 doses. This stock is estimated to run out in eight days.
Next is Cilacap, with a weekly average vaccination of 4,738 doses. Complete vaccination coverage has reached 81.09 percent. Purbalingga has a weekly average vaccination of 4,655 doses and complete vaccination coverage of 82.65%, while Magelang has a weekly average vaccination of 3,777 doses and complete vaccination coverage of 74.97%.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
