The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded two districts/cities with an average weekly vaccination rate above the average in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, which currently stands at 964.29 doses as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
The average vaccination rate for the top three districts/cities with figures above 1,000 doses are Bangka, Pangkal Pinang City, and Belitung, with values of 2,073 doses, 1,271 doses, and 960 doses respectively.
Bangka recorded the highest average weekly vaccination rate in Bangka Belitung Islands Province with 2,073 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 413,140 doses have been used. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination achievement in this region has reached 77.07 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 12 days. This remaining usage period is calculated from the remaining stock of 25,091 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
Pangkal Pinang City is second. The complete vaccination achievement in this city has reached 91.34 percent. Compared to the previous week, the average weekly vaccination in this city reached 1,271 doses. Vaccination in this city is reported to be lower. Meanwhile, the daily average weekly vaccination statistics show no change compared to the previous day.
Following is Belitung with an average weekly vaccination of 960 doses. Complete vaccination coverage has reached 90.77 percent. The average weekly vaccination in Bangka Barat is 825 doses and complete vaccination achievement is 79.62%, while the average weekly vaccination in Belitung Timur is 668 doses and complete vaccination achievement is 92.57%.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
