The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded four districts/cities in Central Kalimantan with weekly average vaccinations exceeding the provincial average of 1,032.22 doses as of Friday, May 27, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination figures above 1,000 doses are Kotawaringin Timur, Katingan, and Kapuas, with 1,983 doses, 1,302 doses, and 1,254 doses respectively.
Kotawaringin Timur recorded the highest weekly average vaccination in Central Kalimantan with 1,983 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 383,900 doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination achievement in this region has reached 76.84 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 16 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 32,102 doses and the highest vaccine usage in Central Kalimantan.
Following Katingan with a vaccination record of 1,302 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 11 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 14,555 doses.
Next is Kapuas with a weekly average vaccination of 1,254 doses; complete vaccination coverage has reached 81.75 percent. Seruyan with 1,057 doses and complete vaccination coverage of 82.41%, and Kotawaringin Barat with 992 doses and complete vaccination coverage of 96.23%.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
