The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities with an average weekly vaccination rate above the Aceh average, which currently stands at 1,391.78 doses as of Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with an average vaccination rate above 2,000 doses are Aceh Utara, Aceh Besar, and Pidie, with values of 2,171 doses, 2,081 doses, and 1,966 doses, respectively.
Aceh Utara ranks first with an average weekly vaccination rate of 2,171 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 481,670 doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 65.79 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 18 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 40,976 doses and the highest vaccine usage in Aceh over the last week.
Following Aceh Besar with a vaccination record of 2,081 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 15 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 32,694 doses.
Next is Pidie with an average weekly vaccination of 1,966 doses; its complete vaccination coverage has reached 68.79 percent. Aceh Selatan, with 1,147 doses and 64.63% complete vaccination coverage, and Simeulue with an average weekly vaccination of 1,132 doses and 80.07% complete vaccination coverage.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
