PVMBG prohibits all activities in the southeast sector along Besuk Kobokan up to 13 km from the summit. Outside this zone, public activity is also banned within 500 meters of river banks along Besuk Kobokan, as pyroclastic surges and lahar flows may reach 17 km from the summit.
