Food Consumption Insufficiency Rate of Humbang Hasundutan Residents Rises 6.18% in 2024

Based on data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the prevalence of undernourishment (PoU) in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra, reached 6.18% in 2024.

This figure increased by 0.36% from the previous year's 5.82%, while over the last 5 years, it rose by 0.77%.

The average PoU in Indonesia was 8.27% in 2024. This means that the PoU in Humbang Hasundutan Regency is lower compared to the national average.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas), PoU is a condition where a person regularly consumes an insufficient amount of food to meet the energy required for a normal, active, and healthy life.
