The village of Kohod is currently a hot topic on social media. This is because the village's waters are traversed by a seawall belonging to PT Intan Agung Makmur.

This seawall has drawn public attention due to concerns about its legal status. Recently, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning also declared that the Building Land Right Certificate (SHGB) and Land Ownership Certificate (SHM) for the seawall in Kohod Village are procedurally and materially flawed, thus void by law.

Kohod Village is the largest village in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.

The district's population is 127,330, comprising 65,470 males and 61,860 females.

According to data from the Tangerang Regency Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Kohod Village covers 9.07 square kilometers (km) in 2024, representing 16.63% of the total area of Pakuhaji District, which is 54.55 km².

The second largest village in the district is Kremat at 7.42 km² (13.61%), followed by Kalibaru at 4.99 km² (9.15%), and Sukawali at 4.34 km² (7.96%).

The smallest village is Bonisari at 1.37 km² (2.52%).
