The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded four districts/cities in Jambi with a weekly average vaccination rate above the provincial average of 893.25 doses as of Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with averages exceeding 1,000 doses are Tebo, Kerinci, and Tanjung Jabung Barat, with 1,218 doses, 1,096 doses, and 1,074 doses respectively.
Tebo recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Jambi with 1,218 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 382,040 doses have been used. National dashboard data shows that the region has achieved 79.67% full vaccination coverage.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 15 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the remaining stock of 18,486 doses and the highest weekly vaccine usage in Jambi.
Kerinci follows in second place. Full vaccination coverage in this district has reached 60.68%. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination rate in this district reached 1,096 doses. Vaccination in this district is reported to be lower. Daily statistics show no change in the weekly average vaccination rate compared to the previous day.
Rounding out the top five are Tanjung Jabung Barat with a weekly average vaccination rate of 1,074 doses and 78.58% full vaccination coverage; Merangin with a weekly average vaccination rate of 953 doses and 61.52% full vaccination coverage; and Bungo with a weekly average vaccination rate of 806 doses and 68.12% full vaccination coverage. .
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
