69.91% of Central Sulawesi's Population was of Working Age in June 2021

The Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs recorded that the population of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) was 3.03 million in June 2021. Of this number, 2.12 million (69.91%) were in the productive age group (15-64 years old).

Meanwhile, 913,140 (30.09%) of Sulteng's population were in the non-productive age group. Specifically, 761,700 (25.1%) were in the non-productive age group (0-14 years old). Furthermore, 151,440 (4.99%) of Sulteng's population were in the unproductive age group (65 years and older).

Based on gender, the male population in Sulteng was 1.56 million (51.34%) and the female population was 1.48 million (48.66%).

According to marital status, 1.47 million (48.58%) of Sulteng's population were unmarried, and 1.42 million (46.8%) were married. There were also 33,780 (1.11%) individuals in the province who were divorced and 106,280 (3.5%) who were widowed.
