The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Lampung with weekly average vaccinations above the provincial average, which currently stands at 3,035.88 doses as of Sunday, May 15, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination figures above 4,000 doses are Lampung Tengah, Lampung Timur, and Lampung Selatan, with values of 6,083 doses, 5,209 doses, and 3,500 doses respectively.
Lampung Tengah recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Lampung with 6,083 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 1.29 million doses have been used. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 69.13 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 44 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 273,720 doses and the highest weekly vaccine usage in Lampung.
Next is Lampung Timur, which recorded a weekly average vaccination of 5,209 doses, lower than the previous week. Lampung Timur is ranked second. With this average vaccine usage, the vaccine stock in this region will last for 19 days. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 102,780 doses.
Then, Lampung Selatan, with a weekly average vaccination of 3,500 doses, has now achieved a 72.33 percent complete vaccination coverage. The weekly average vaccination in Pesawaran is 2,438 doses with a 65.76% complete vaccination rate, and Way Kanan with 2,417 doses and an 80.54% complete vaccination rate.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
