Similarly, the occupancy rate of non-star-rated hotels increased slightly by 3.01 percentage points (MoM) in December 2023, reaching 28.67%.

However, this achievement for non-star-rated hotels increased by 2.22 percentage points (YoY) compared to December of the previous year.

Riau Islands had the highest occupancy rate for non-star-rated hotels in December 2023, reaching 39.77%, followed by Bali at 37.47% and North Kalimantan at 36.54%.

Meanwhile, the lowest occupancy rate for non-star-rated hotels was recorded in Maluku at only 16.69%. This was followed by Banten and East Nusa Tenggara with occupancy rates of 17.16% and 18.44%, respectively.
