The top five, starting with the highest number of people tested per week, are Indramayu (973 people), Malang (929 people), Bandung Barat (922 people), Kudus (902 people), and Jepara (872 people).
Indramayu ranks first, with 973 people tested per week. The latest positive rate is 2.98 percent, an increase from the previous week.
Next is Malang, which tested 929 people per week in its efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The positive rate in this region is 7.64 percent, a decrease from the previous week.
Furthermore, Bandung Barat recorded 922 tests per week, Kudus 902, and Jepara 872.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, 142 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reported a higher number of people tested per week than the previous week. Meanwhile, 149 other regencies/cities recorded a lower number of tests per week compared to the previous week.
Areas outside Java with the highest number of people tested per week include Bandar Lampung (777 people), Samarinda (711 people), and Mimika (692 people).
