Average Years of Schooling for Indramayu Regency Residents Up to 5th Grade Elementary School in 2025

The average years of schooling (RLS) for residents aged 25 years and above in Indramayu, West Java, reached 7.06 years in 2025.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the RLS of residents in the region is below the average for West Java Province, which reached 9.14 years in 2025.

Indramayu's RLS increased by 0.11 years (1.58%) compared to the previous year's 6.95 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the RLS has risen by 0.76 years (12.06%).

This RLS indicates that the average resident of Indramayu only attended school up to the seventh grade. However, this RLS is still below the national average RLS of 9.07 years in 2025.

Compared to 26 other regencies/cities in West Java Province, Indramayu's RLS is in the 27th position. Other regions in the province with the highest RLS are Bekasi City (12.11 years), while the lowest RLS is Indramayu Regency (7.06 years).
