Conversely, the highest mask usage compliance rate was observed at train stations in Yogyakarta, reaching 99.64%.
Other locations with high mask usage compliance rates in Yogyakarta include offices and terminals, reaching 99.35% and 98.51%, respectively.
The average mask usage compliance rate across the five cities/regencies in Yogyakarta reached 88.30%. Three cities/regencies—Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta City, and Sleman Regency—achieved 100% mask usage compliance.
Kulon Progo Regency had the lowest mask usage compliance rate in Yogyakarta at 80.14%, followed by Bantul Regency at 85.37%.
The use of masks, especially double-layered masks or N95 type masks, is crucial in preventing the spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, the public is urged to wear masks when going outdoors. Furthermore, the public is advised to maintain physical distancing, wash hands with soap, avoid crowds, and limit mobility.
