As of Saturday, December 25, 2021, a total of 269.47 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 156.44 million first doses, 110.52 million second doses, and 2.51 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("gotong royong").
A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, exceeding the target by 139.13%. 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their second dose, exceeding the target by 133.14%. Furthermore, 1.28 million healthcare workers (87.19% of the target) have received a third dose.
For public sector workers, 23.6 million people (136.2% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.13 million (121.95% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 13.59 million (63.06% of the target) have received their first dose, and 8.72 million (40.45% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 93.71 million people (67.28% of the target) have received their first dose, and 60.77 million (43.89% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 22.19 million (83.09% of the target) have received their first dose, and 16.73 million (62.64% of the target) have received their second dose.
