Several districts/cities in West Kalimantan province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kayong Utara Regency, Kubu Raya Regency, and Kapuas Hulu Regency.
As of yesterday, these three regencies had only completed 413,930 second doses out of the expected target of 703,580 vaccine recipients.
Kayong Utara Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region has reached 57.97%. This is the lowest compared to the other 14 districts/cities. As for the first dose, as of yesterday, 85.47% has been achieved, or 136,190 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 90,570 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kayong Utara was 348 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 16,874 doses.
Next is Kubu Raya Regency. For the second dose, this area is ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 432,690 participants, 58.44% or 252,860 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 77.33%, or 628,090 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kubu Raya was 958 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 25,882 doses.
Lastly, Kapuas Hulu Regency is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 180,330 participants, 60.21% or 108,570 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kapuas Hulu was 420 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 11,358 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in West Kalimantan has reached 78.78%, or 3.49 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 64.28%, covering 2.85 million vaccine recipients.
