As of Wednesday, September 29, 2021, a total of 142.88 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 90.36 million first doses, 50.69 million second doses, and 1.83 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.98 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 134.76% of the target. 1.83 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (124.79% of the target). Furthermore, 928,320 healthcare workers have received a third dose (63.2% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.73 million people have received their first dose (160.06% of the target), and 18.38 million have received their second dose (106.08% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 6.41 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (29.76% of the target), and 4.35 million have received their second dose (20.2% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 49.31 million people have received their first dose (35.64% of the target), and 22.74 million have received their second dose (16.68% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.9 million have received their first dose (14.6% of the target), and 2.56 million have received their second dose (9.61% of the target).
