The government began promoting third dose vaccinations throughout the country starting in January 2022. The latest data on third dose vaccination rates in East Nusa Tenggara shows that Kupang City has the highest rate, reaching 16.44 percent as of Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Previously, the first dose vaccination rate in this city reached 103.82 percent, and the second dose reached 82.46 percent. In this region, a total of 676,300 doses have been administered to 333,630 vaccine recipients.

West Sumba Regency follows in second place. Compared to the previous week, the vaccination rate in this regency has reached 10.31 percent. The first dose vaccination rate has reached 103.82 percent, and the second dose has reached 82.46 percent. Following these are: Belu Regency with a vaccination rate of 9.98 percent for the third dose; Sumba Tengah Regency with a vaccination rate of 9.64 percent; and Kupang Regency with a vaccination rate of 9.52 percent.

Nationally, Indonesia's third dose vaccination rate is currently at 24.8 percent. This is a 0.16 percent increase compared to the previous day.

Based on the target number of vaccine recipients, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health dashboard, the national vaccination rate for the first dose has reached 96.87 percent, and the second dose has reached 81.28 percent.
