As of Thursday, September 23, 2021, a total of 133.2 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 84.12 million first doses, 47.34 million second doses, and 1.75 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (134.12% of the target). 1.81 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (123.57% of the target). Furthermore, 884,330 healthcare workers have received a third dose (60.21% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.74 million people have received their first dose (160.1% of the target), and 16.31 million have received their second dose (94.13% of the target).
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 6.1 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (28.32% of the target), and 4.23 million have received their second dose (19.62% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 43.89 million people have received their first dose (31.78% of the target), and 21.84 million have received their second dose (16.01% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.43 million have received their first dose (12.85% of the target), and 2.38 million have received their second dose (8.9% of the target).
