The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 94 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.34 percent as of Thursday, June 30, 2022.
The five top regencies/cities with figures exceeding 23.22 percent are Ciamis, West Lombok, Pasuruan City, Medan City, and Semarang City, with values of 60 percent, 50 percent, 26 percent, 25 percent, and 23.22 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 32 regencies/cities, while eight regencies/cities recorded lower tracing.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include West Lombok, Medan City, and Banda Aceh City, with tracing rates of 50 percent, 25 percent, and 20.5 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
