The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 33 regencies/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.01 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Monday, July 4, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.15 per 100,000 population per week, are Barito Timur (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Manggarai (0.57 per 100,000 population per week), Cirebon City (0.31 per 100,000 population per week), Pangkajene Kepulauan (0.29 per 100,000 population per week), and Rembang (0.15 per 100,000 population per week).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Two regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, while 10 regencies/cities recorded a lower agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Barito Timur (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Manggarai (0.57 per 100,000 population per week), and Pangkajene Kepulauan (0.29 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
