Several districts/cities in DKI Jakarta province still record relatively low vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta.
As of Friday, October 8, 2021, these three areas had only completed 5.85 million doses of the first vaccine shot, exceeding the target of 5.73 million vaccine recipients.
East Jakarta is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this area only recorded 95.73% vaccination coverage, the lowest among the six districts/cities. The vaccination program in this district targets 2.4 million participants. The average weekly vaccination rate last week was 9,259 participants. The available vaccine stock is 541,130 doses.
Next is West Jakarta, ranked second lowest. With a vaccination target of 1.93 million participants, only 97.61% or 1.89 million participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate last week was 6,997 participants. The available vaccine stock is 269,500 doses.
Finally, North Jakarta is ranked third. With a vaccination target of 1.4 million participants, 119.08% or 1.67 million participants have been vaccinated. The average weekly vaccination rate last week was 5,488 participants. The available vaccine stock is 260,480 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in DKI Jakarta has reached 128.57%, covering 10.79 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 96.45%, covering 8.1 million vaccine recipients.
