The same condition is observed in Makassar City, which recorded 6.36 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population. Following this is Selayar Islands Regency. This regency in South Sulawesi province recorded 5.11 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population.
Maros and North Toraja follow, recording 3.89 and 3.35 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 1.9 cases per 100,000 population per week.
