1.87 million people in North Sulawesi have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of Monday, May 2, 2022, North Sulawesi Province has achieved an 89.73% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 1.87 million people out of a target of 2.08 million. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 65.9% of the target.

By target group, the COVID-19 vaccination details in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 21,780 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 21,780 individuals (123.47% of the target), while the second dose reached 116.85% or 25,450 individuals.

For public sector workers, the target was 194,980 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 186,920 individuals (95.87% of the target), and the second dose reached 83.1% or 162,030 individuals.

The elderly target was 259,460 individuals. The first dose was administered to 186,870 individuals (72.02% of the target), while the second dose reached 53.22% or 138,090 individuals.

The target for vulnerable members of the general public was 1.36 million individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 1.05 million individuals (77.64% of the target), while the second dose reached 54.92% or 745,470 individuals.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 245,340 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 233,270 individuals (95.08% of the target), while the second dose reached 73.12% or 179,400 individuals.
