Several districts/cities in Gorontalo province still record relatively low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. These include Pahuwato Regency, Bone Bolango Regency, and Gorontalo Regency.
As of today, these three regions have only completed 364,900 second doses out of the targeted 562,530 vaccine recipients.
Pahuato Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination rate in this region was 62.04%, the lowest among the six districts/cities. The first-dose vaccination rate has reached 86.37%, with 180,650 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 116,070 participants.
Next is Bone Bolango Regency. Its second-dose vaccination rate is the second lowest. With a target of 129,760 vaccine recipients, 63.21% (82,021 participants) have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination rate stands at 86.28%, with 205,750 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Bone Bolango last week was 270 participants. The current vaccine stock is 8,546 doses.
Gorontalo Regency is ranked third. With a target of 316,700 vaccine recipients, 66.58% (210,870 participants) have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination rate in Gorontalo last week was 1,305 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is 68,198 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination rate in Gorontalo has reached 83.007%, with 875,900 vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination rate is 61.56%, reaching 649,580 vaccine recipients.
