The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 67 regencies/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 above the national average, currently recorded at 0.04 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.87 per 100,000 population per week, are Tomohon City, Minahasa, Talaud Islands, Central Bangka, and Soppeng, with respective rates of 1.81, 1.45, 1.07, 1.01, and 0.87 per 100,000 population per week.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. However, four regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than before, while 16 regencies/cities recorded a lower rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 include Tomohon City, Minahasa, and the Talaud Islands, with rates of 1.81, 1.45, and 1.07 per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
