National COVID-19 vaccination as of Sunday, September 12, 2021, has reached 116.21 million doses. This includes 72.88 million first doses, 41.79 million second doses, and 1.55 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 1.95 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, representing 133.03% of the target. 1.79 million healthcare workers have received the second dose (121.6% of the target). For healthcare workers, a third dose is also recommended, with 779,250 healthcare workers (53.06% of the target) having received it.
For public sector workers, 27.49 million people (158.66% of the target) have received the first dose. Of these, 13.96 million (80.54% of the target) have received the second dose.
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial phase. However, to date, only 5.66 million (26.27% of the target) have received the first dose, and 4.02 million (18.64% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 33.73 million people (24.53% of the target) have received the first dose, and 19.22 million (14.07% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, adolescents aged 12-17 years are another target group. A total of 3.13 million (11.74% of the target) have received the first dose, and 2.15 million (8.07% of the target) have received the second dose.
