The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 32 districts/cities with weekly hospital inpatient use above the national average, currently recorded at 0.86 patients per 100,000 population/week, data as of Monday, July 4, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with inpatient use exceeding 3.12 patients per 100,000 population/week are Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Sorong, with respective values of 9.74 patients per 100,000 population/week, 6.06 patients per 100,000 population/week, 4.85 patients per 100,000 population/week, 3.13 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 3.12 patients per 100,000 population/week.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that inpatient use in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Nine districts/cities recorded higher daily inpatient use than before, while nine others recorded lower inpatient use.
Areas outside Java with the highest inpatient use include Sorong, Denpasar City, and Barito Timur, with respective inpatient use of 3.12 patients per 100,000 population/week, 2.36 patients per 100,000 population/week, and 2.34 patients per 100,000 population/week.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
