Average Length of Schooling in Bangkalan Up to 4th Grade of Primary School in 2025

The Average Length of Schooling (ALS) for residents aged 25 years and above in Bangkalan, East Java, reached 6.15 years in 2025.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the ALS for residents in the region is below the East Java Province average, which reached 8.39 years in 2025.

Bangkalan's ALS increased by 0.14 years (2.33%) compared to the previous year's 6.01 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the ALS rose by 0.2 years (3.36%).

This ALS indicates that the average resident of Bangkalan only attended school up to the 6th grade of primary school. However, this ALS is still below the national average ALS of 9.07 years in 2025.
