As of Wednesday, January 5, 2022, a total of 285.14 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 167.53 million first doses, 115.08 million second doses, and 2.53 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.97 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 139.78% of the target. 1.3 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.95% of the target). Furthermore, 1.3 million healthcare workers (88.19% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 23.5 million people (135.63% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.17 million (122.15% of the target) have received their second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. To date, 14.48 million elderly individuals (67.18% of the target) have received their first dose, and 9.18 million (42.59% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 98.6 million people (70.75% of the target) have received their first dose, and 64.25 million (46.37% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 22.9 million (85.76% of the target) have received their first dose, and 17.29 million (64.74% of the target) have received their second dose.
