As of Thursday, September 2, 2021, a total of 103.73 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 65.23 million first doses, 37.16 million second doses, and 1.35 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community participation) program.
A total of 1.66 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (112.68% of the target), and 1.53 million have received their second dose (104.48% of the target). Furthermore, 668,540 healthcare workers have received a third dose (45.52% of the target).
For public sector workers, 35.05 million people have received their first dose (202.29% of the target), and 19.67 million have received their second dose (113.54% of the target).
The elderly population was also prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 5.34 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (24.79% of the target), and 3.8 million have received their second dose (17.65% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 19.62 million people have received their first dose (14.48% of the target), and 9.76 million have received their second dose (7.28% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 2.72 million have received their first dose (10.2% of the target), and 1.86 million have received their second dose (6.96% of the target).
