Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 32,220 recipients. For the first dose, 32,220 people were vaccinated (135.58 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 126.53 percent or 40,770 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 402,220 people. The first dose vaccination reached 453,830 people (112.83 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 84.5 percent, or 339,870 people.
The elderly population target was 405,570 people. For the first dose, 104,530 people were vaccinated (25.77 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 12.5 percent, or 50,690 people.
The vulnerable general public target was 2.41 million people. For the first dose, 982,540 people were vaccinated (40.83 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 16.11 percent, or 387,120 people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 582,840 people. For the first dose, 249,340 people were vaccinated (42.78 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 20.78 percent, or 121,090 people.
