Several districts/cities in South Sumatra Province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Banyuasin Regency, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and Musi Rawas Regency.
As of yesterday, these three regions have only completed 1.02 million second doses out of the targeted 1.5 million vaccine recipients.
Banyuasin Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination rate in this region has reached 67.61 percent, the lowest among the other 17 districts/cities. The first dose vaccination rate has reached 92.38 percent, or 1.05 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 625,020 recipients.
Next is Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region has the second lowest rate. With a target of 577,930 vaccine recipients, 67.69 percent or 391,220 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first dose vaccination rate has reached 93.49 percent, or 993,550 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Ogan Komering Ilir was 1,934 recipients. The current vaccine stock is 64,868 doses.
Musi Rawas Regency is ranked third. With a target of 295,010 vaccine recipients, 68.26 percent or 201,370 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Musi Rawas was 2,285 recipients. The current vaccine stock is 51,998 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination rate in South Sumatra has reached 84.41 percent, or 6.08 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 67.47 percent, covering 4.86 million vaccine recipients.
