West Sumatra Vaccination Update as of Monday, December 20, 2021

As of Monday, December 20, 2021, West Sumatra Province had achieved a 62.33% vaccination rate for the first dose, covering 2.75 million people out of a target of 4.41 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 36.97% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,390 people. For the first dose, 32,390 people were vaccinated (132.7% of the target), and for the second dose, 40,650 people were vaccinated (125.49% of the target).

For public officials, the target was 400,270 people. The first dose vaccination reached 291,030 people (72.71% of the target), and the second dose reached 247,740 people (61.89% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 489,570 people. The first dose was administered to 181,180 people (37.01% of the target), while the second dose reached only 90,750 people (18.54% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.9 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.72 million people (59.54% of the target), while the second dose reached only 888,680 people (30.73% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 589,720 people. The first dose was administered to 508,180 people (86.17% of the target), while the second dose reached 360,740 people (61.17% of the target).
