Central Java recorded the highest number of Covid-19 deaths today, with 7 deaths. This was followed by North Sumatra with 6 deaths due to coronavirus infection, and then East Kalimantan with 4 Covid-19 deaths.
The provinces with the next highest number of Covid-19 deaths were East Java and South Sulawesi, each with 3 additional deaths. This was followed by Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Bali, and South Kalimantan, each with 2 additional deaths. Riau reported 1 additional death.
The government also reported 1,053 new confirmed Covid-19 cases today. Central Java recorded the highest number of new cases, with 156. This was followed by Jakarta with 113 and West Java with 102. With today's increase, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases during the Covid-19 pandemic has reached 4,232,099.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, 1,715 Covid-19 patients were declared recovered today. North Sumatra recorded the highest number of recovered patients, with 190. This was followed by Central Java with 138 recovered cases.
Next was West Java with 125 additional recovered cases. With today's increase, the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients is 4,069,399.
