Jakarta, DKI Province recorded an increase of 151 Covid-19 cases on Friday, October 1, 2021. This increase was the highest compared to other provinces. Today's increase in Jakarta's cases is one more than the Covid-19 cases reported the previous day.
Meanwhile, the next highest increases in Covid-19 cases among the top five provinces were East Java with 124 cases, West Java with 115 cases, Central Java with 107 cases, and Bali with 97 cases.
The total increase from the top 10 provinces reached 962 people (59%). The remaining increase in cases in the other 24 provinces amounted to 662 people (41%). Today, 16 provinces recorded a decrease in the number of cases, and 18 other provinces experienced an increase.

During the pandemic, the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia has reached 4.22 million. The number of active cases currently stands at 34,867. This is a decrease compared to the previous day's figure of 36,141.
Other data from the Ministry of Health shows that 4.04 million people have recovered from Covid-19, and a total of 142,030 Covid-19 deaths have been reported.
