The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 213 districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 13.95 percent (data as of Thursday, November 10, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 57.14 percent are Raja Ampat, East Sumba, Central Sumba, North Halmahera, and South Bolaang Mongondow, with values of 68.18 percent, 66.67 percent, 60.61 percent, 57.14 percent, and 57.14 percent, respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 190 districts/cities, while 132 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Raja Ampat, East Sumba, and Central Sumba, with seven-day positivity rates of 68.18 percent, 66.67 percent, and 60.61 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
