As of Friday, September 24, 2021, a total of 134.55 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 85.02 million first doses, 47.78 million second doses, and 1.76 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("gotong royong").
For healthcare workers, 1.97 million individuals (134.16% of the target) have received the first dose, and 1.82 million (123.72% of the target) have received the second dose. The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers; 892,190 (60.74% of the target) have received this booster dose.
Regarding public sector workers, 27.76 million individuals (160.2% of the target) have received the first dose, and 16.56 million (95.58% of the target) have received the second dose.
Elderly individuals were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 6.15 million (28.53% of the target) have received the first dose, and 4.25 million (19.71% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 44.7 million individuals (32.36% of the target) have received the first dose, and 21.99 million (16.11% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.44 million (12.9% of the target) have received the first dose, and 2.4 million (8.97% of the target) have received the second dose.
