The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 88 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 1.96 percent of data as of Sunday, October 2, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are West Lombok (37 percent), Mataram City (34 percent), Metro City (25.5 percent), Cianjur (20 percent), and Ciamis (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in six districts/cities, while six others recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok (37 percent), Mataram City (34 percent), and Metro City (25.5 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
