East Java Province recorded an increase of 427 Covid-19 cases on Friday, September 17, 2021. This increase was the highest compared to other provinces. For today, East Java also recorded a positive growth of 27 percent. This means that there has been a greater increase in cases compared to the previous day.
The next highest increases in Covid-19 cases among the top five provinces were West Java with 328 cases, Central Java with 265 cases, North Sumatra with 254 cases, and East Kalimantan with 233 cases.
The total increase from the top 10 provinces reached 2,375 people (62%). The remaining increase in cases in the other 24 provinces totaled 1,460 people (38%). Today, nine provinces recorded a decrease in the number of cases compared to yesterday, and 24 other provinces experienced an increase.

Positive coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in Indonesia increased by 3,835 people on Friday, September 17, 2021. This increase in positive cases brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 4.19 million people.
Meanwhile, from 73,238 active cases yesterday, the number of patients declared recovered today increased by 7,912 people, and the number of deaths increased by 219 people.
