Compared to other regions in East Nusa Tenggara, the regency experienced the highest growth in vaccination implementation over the past week. This growth was driven by the local government's efforts to catch up on the vaccination program, which is still below the provincial average. Currently, the first dose vaccination coverage in West Sumba Regency has only reached 45.23%, while the average for regencies/cities in the province is above 48.61%.
According to daily data released by the Ministry of Health, the weekly average vaccination in this region is 785 doses. This figure is below the average for regencies/cities in East Nusa Tenggara. With an available vaccine stock of 24,172 doses, it is estimated that the vaccine supply in West Sumba Regency will be depleted within the next 30 days.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in East Nusa Tenggara has reached 50.09 percent, covering 1.92 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 25.45 percent, covering 974,950 vaccine recipients.
