Several districts/cities in West Java province still record a relatively low level of second dose vaccination compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Cianjur Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, and Garut Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 2.4 million second doses out of the expected target of 5.38 million vaccine recipients.
Cianjur Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, for the second dose vaccination, this region has only recorded 43.47 percent. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 27 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose, as of yesterday, 74.83 percent has been achieved, or 2.29 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city is planned to target 1.92 million participants. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Cianjur was 12,254 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 165,810 doses.
Next is Tasikmalaya Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is the second lowest. With a vaccine target of 1.48 million participants, only 45.1 percent or 668,200 participants have been vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 75.99 percent, or 1.8 million vaccine recipients. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Tasikmalaya was 12,763 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 84,730 doses.
Garut Regency is ranked third. With a vaccine target of 1.98 million participants, only 45.56 percent or 901,030 participants have received the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Garut was 8,008 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 228,960 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, total first dose vaccination in West Java has reached 88.21 percent, or 33.44 million vaccine recipients. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 63.84 percent, reaching 24.2 million vaccine recipients.
