Indonesia has administered 30 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Indonesia had administered approximately 30 million doses of the Covid-19 coronavirus vaccine by Wednesday, June 9, 2021. This includes 18,934,997 doses administered as a first dose and 11,455,920 doses as a second dose. These figures target healthcare workers, public officials, and the elderly.

Vaccination coverage for healthcare workers has exceeded the target for the first dose, having been administered to 1,526,586 individuals. For the second dose, 1,395,252 individuals have been vaccinated, or 95% of the target.

A total of 13,623,087 individuals, or 78.6% of the target, among public officials have also received the first dose of the vaccine. Furthermore, 7,685,406 of them have received the second dose, or 44.3% of the target.

Despite this, the first dose vaccination for the elderly has only reached 3,716,307 individuals, or 17.2% of the target. Those who have received the second dose are only 2,369,250 individuals, or 11% of the target.

Even after vaccination, the public still needs to implement the 3M protocol: wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. This is because the 3M protocol is effective in preventing the spread of the coronavirus within the community.
