Indonesia today recorded an additional 456 Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 6.05 million as of Tuesday, May 10, 2022. The five provinces with the highest number of new cases today are DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, East Java, and Central Java.

1. DKI Jakarta: 150 new cases

DKI Jakarta ranks first, with 150 new cases, a 0.01% increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total of 1.25 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in DKI Jakarta is now 1.25 million.

In addition to recording the highest number of new cases, DKI Jakarta also recorded two deaths. The total number of deaths in DKI Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic has reached 15,276.

The trend of case development in this region over the past week has decreased. This can be seen from the lower confirmation rate per 100,000 population compared to the previous week.

2. West Java: 98 new cases

3. Banten: 51 new cases
